Compare the Market

At Compare the Market, I created campaign artwork for a brand built around the adventures of Aleksandr Orlov and Sergei. My work spanned display advertising, outdoor campaigns, social content and email design.

A large part of the role was making a limited set of character assets work in new situations. Through Photoshop compositing, I placed the meerkats into different Australian settings while keeping their appearance and personality consistent.

Simples

Display advertising

I adapted the established “Simples” campaign into display advertising, working with the brand’s character assets, messaging and recognisable visual identity.

Meerkat Mondays

Outdoor Advertising

My outdoor advertising work formed part of the Meerkat Mondays campaign, extending a television-led promotion into another format while retaining its characters and campaign message.

Instagram accounts

Social media presence/user engagement

I combined supplied meerkat assets with stock photography in Photoshop to create new scenes for the characters’ shared Instagram account.

The constraint was working with a select set of poses while keeping each adventure visually convincing and recognisably part of the same character world.

Welcome email

Email design

I designed welcome email creative as another expression of the brand, carrying its character-led identity into customer communications.
