In-house senior designer

Swyftx

I joined Swyftx as a Designer during an early period of growth and was later promoted to Senior Designer. I helped develop the visual identity of the Australian crypto exchange across its website, app and marketing.

Working with product designers, front-end developers and marketing, I created branding, illustration and campaign assets that made a complex subject feel more approachable. Bright colour and a flexible illustration system became a way to bring consistency to a fast-moving brand.

Rebrand

Early days

When I joined, Swyftx had a logo and a template-based website. My work helped develop that starting point into a more distinctive visual identity across the brand and app.

The aim was to make crypto feel welcoming to an Australian audience with different levels of financial knowledge. Colour and illustration offered a friendlier direction than the sharper, more serious branding common in the category.

Illustrations

Site and App

I developed a modular isometric illustration style, with components that could be combined into new assets by me and other designers. This gave us a consistent visual language without having to start from scratch for every brief.

That flexibility mattered in a market where campaigns and information could change quickly. The system supported both website and app content while leaving room for new subjects and formats.

PODCAST

Tapping into Crypto

I created the artwork and branding for “Tapping into Crypto”, a podcast introducing Australian listeners to cryptocurrency.

The brief called for an identity separate from the main Swyftx brand. Bold typography and saturated colour gave it its own personality and a clear presence among other podcast covers.

Web designs

Landing Pages and Brochureware

I designed landing pages and website content for careers, Swyftx Learn, competitions and seasonal campaigns, working with product design, development and marketing.

The range of briefs called for a consistent brand expression that could adapt to different audiences and messages. It was a fast-paced environment with plenty of room to explore new ideas.
